Governor Richardson Announces Not Forgotten to be filmed in Santa Fe and Las Vegas

SANTA FE—Governor Bill Richardson today announced that the Myriad Pictures production, Not Forgotten, starring Simon Baker (Devil Wears Prada, The Guardian, Something New, Sex and Death 101), will be shot in New Mexico.

Dror Soref will direct and also produce alongside Donald Zuckerman. Myriad Pictures CEO Kirk D’Amico, Michelle Seward and local New Mexican Dennis S. Murphy will executive produce.

The film will be shot in and around Santa Fe and Las Vegas from January 9 through February 23, 2008.

Set in a Tex-Mex border town, Not Forgotten is a classic psychological thriller about a couple who must come to terms with their tortured pasts in order to save their kidnapped daughter. It is a tale taut with intrigue and steeped in Latino mysticism, where the line between what’s real and what’s imagined becomes hopelessly blurred.

Since Richardson took office, over 85 feature film and television projects have shot in the state, adding over $1.2 billion dollars to New Mexico’s economy.
